Richard Bruce Cheney was born in Lincoln Nebraska on January 30 1941 the child of Richard Herbert Cheney and the former Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. After 13 years of age, old, he emigrated together with family members from Nebraska to Casper located in western part of Wyoming, where his father directed the district for soil conservation in Casper to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
